Signed contract in Feb, received a Samsung Note 2 on 0605090672. The phone fell out right pocket while bending down taking measurements at an ARM/Assmang site. It landed on concrete floor, damaging whole screen. Unusable afterwards. Submitted it for repairs at Silver Oaks Mall, Pretoria-East, where it was told to me that it was too expensive to repair. MTN expect me to stay committed to 350MB data contract, avg value of R2000 pm, without the smart-phone benefit, or the 'contract selling point'. I owned smartphones for the past 7 years in same conditions, think your product offered was below standard, which is no secret. No option for some sort of insurance covering these kind of incidents was offered at time of the telemarketing promotion. We currently support at least 12 (24 months) MTN contracts with our business (Picko, ID 5502245044086), my other number 0832159786, with contract values of about between R1000 to R4500 per month each, or R250K p.j, and I would gladly cancel all of them by end of June 2013 without any response.
