We have been complaining about this for the past 2 to 3years and there is another complaint that was send to mtn on 17th of july 2012
My area has no network coverage, i can't make calls or even access the internet the problem has been there since june 2011.The only signal that we pick up is mascom and orange which are networks from Botswana.
I tried calling MTN call centre a couple of times and the coverage department promising that this problem will be fixed, well i was home the whole of december and still experienced the same problem to drive to the other side of the village to be able to reach the signal.
i can not be roaming with botswana network whilst I am still in south Africa, could mtn please tell its customers ther to use other networks or please explain as to why this is hard to fix.
Everyone in my family have been using mtn for as long as i remember but I mean really mtn is this what we have to go through to be able to get good service from you.
If other competitors can make sure that the signal of their tower is strong enough why cant mtn do the same?
