Once again I find myself in this position-seems to happen every two years or so! and quite frankly I am getting quite peeved about this. Funds have been disappearing from my cellphone for the past few weeks. As it is my own personal cellphone and one that I do not use regularly (MTN can vouch this when they look at my itemised billing)-I have an office cellphone that I use all the time-I did not really notice the deductions until 23 March, when I wanted to use my cellphone. I get topped up with R100 airtime on the 12th of each month and should have had an accumulated almost three months airtime /- R300 now, as I have not been using my cellphone for a while for the reason explained above. Imagine my surprise when I saw that I only had about R14-00 airtime left. Upon calling MTN customer query I was informed that a company called OPERA TELECOMM has been making daily deductions from my account since 15th March-with a total deduction of R259-00 as at the day of my disocvery. I immediately wrote to the company, copied in WASPA, and have been fighting with them ever since, they keep on telling me that I subscribed, apparently received a welcoming message and daily reminders#@#T
