I opened a cellphone contract in Jan for an iPhone5 and the vodacom direct call center opened 2 lines without my consent. instead of doing a sim swop they just opened 2 lines clearly they didnt know how to do a sim swop, now i am being charged 2 subsciptions for 1 phone. I went to the alberton store, which where very helpful, but because the contact was opened over the phone they couldnt help me :-(
they called the cancellation department whilst in store, i get told i have to pay an early cancellation fee??? which i think is totally nonsence because i am paying for 2 handsets since Jan and I only received 1, i am sure this is against the CPA!!! I will not pay for a cancellation fee because the error was not me, it was your call centre! this money which is not small change needs to be refunded back into my account a.s.a.p
