Late last year I had a data bill of R8000 from Vodacom. After a long investigation; my cell number was deleted from their system. Because this is a business number; I was left with no choice but to pay. After two months of normality I was again hit with a bill of R1 000 for data. I then called and requested that a cap of R50 be immediately put on all the data packages I have. Which was effected. Every time I will get an SMS to tell me I am running out if data; which meant the limit was in place. Now all of a sudden I get a bill of R6 000.00. I am told that this is because of what happened with the previous data usage and that a limit could not be set. I request that the tape be listened to where I called and requested the limits because at no point was this communicated to me.
Either Vodacom has a problem with their billing system or they are deliberately setting data customers up for. I have an iPad with 2Gigs from Mtn and have not once finished my data bundles. This is the one gadget I utilise for Internet more than any other. This time I will not take this lying down. Otherwise; I will be bankrupted by Vodacom cheats.
