I have been softlock, after I paid!!!

I have been soft-lock after I have paid 20 days later. I called the customer care number and they say that they have not received my payment. they said I must send them the proof of payment and they will connect me immediately. I sent them the proof of payment and I am still waiting to be connected, I am I nice guy so I gave them some time to connect my phone, its the 2nd day. I NEED MY PHONE, as my clients can't reach me.
This is why i got the contract in the first place.
What else can I do to get my phone connected?
Why do I have an account at Nashua mobile if I have this problem every month... If I had prepaid this would not have happened.
