I become more and more convinced that cell phone companies are only interested in market share and not in actually supplying their customers good coverage for products and contracts already sold. What is the use of a state of the art cell phone if you can hardly access 2G - let alone 3G and now 4G?

I travel alot and of late find it more and more difficult to connect on my mobile in different parts of the country - recently Bloemfontein, Beaufort West, Mosselbay and then of course my home town, Pretoria. I lived in Newlands and only had one bar 3G most of the time. Then moved to Moreleta Park - low and behold I'm lucky if I get any 3G - even 2G is sometimes non existent and voice calls impossible - either dropped or now coverage!

This is really extremely frustrating to the point that I'm considering moving my 4 accounts to another supplier, based on actual coverage in my area!

Is this how its going to be from now on? Is ASDL the only option? Which defies the mobile definition? I'm fed-up!! I pay over R2000 pm for a bad service and might as well convert back to a landline!
