Upon receiving my itemised billing for the period March/April 2013 I was surprised that an additional fee, known as a promo fee was billed to my account. This is the first time I have heard about this and then contacted MTN with no avail, all that was told to me was that it was part of the contract. I did not agree on this at any point, nor was it conveyed to me that I will be subject to this fee. The total cost of the promo fee is amounts to more than my monthly subscription cost. This is ridiculous and I refuse to pay this, and as per the responses I have received from MTN, it is clear that they do not value their customers.
