MTN are you really surprised you are losing customers?
MTN has unilaterally increased the price of their itemised billing despite a signed contract.
Isn't it nice to know you can do what you want whenever you want and the customers.
When questioned the answers given by customer care are words to the effect of " we can do what we want, and no you cannot be put through to anyone else, nor are we prepared to give you an email address so you can register your complaint so, so sad too bad"
Of course the fact that according to them, the fact that you signed a contract is irrelevant as itemised billing is "an added extra.
Everyone should immediately cancel their itemised billing. Lets see if they care about their customers thoughts then.
The excuse that it is the first increase in years is complete and total drivel. The itemised billing must cost them virtually nothing per customer.
Perhaps voting with "our feet" will make the powers that be at MTN think again before doing whatever they like and treating their customers with contempt.
