Unhappy with PAYING for phone under warrenty

I have had a problem with my Blackberry 9320 since the 07 May 2013. the problem is that my Blackberry Internet service wasn't working. i made a call everyday since then for the vodacom customer care to fix this issue and today when i call Jo burg for an update on my phone i am told that the phone have liquid damage and they are quoting me R2461.17 to replace my phone due to it being beyond economical repair. this phone is still under the first year of warranty. and i don't understand how this issue is caused by liquid damage for BIS but my normal Internet works on the phone i.e. i get charged from my airtime. Now they are telling me that i can get the phone refurbished but it will only be covered with a warranty of 3 months and i lose the rest of my warranty. my ref numbers for this from the customer care line is S3-TP82F-FRC28, S3-TPC4J-JDUUS, S3-TPE2L-LLD1U from customercare and my job number is 8860090 from Voda care joburg via vodacare durban oldfort road.
