I think that Telkom Mobile is a huge joke. The service I have received is a joke.

1st I was informed I was due a upgrade on my contract, when I went to collect I was told that I was not due for upgrade. What a waste of time. Then when I could upgrade it took over a week for the contract to go through even though it was approved. It took over a week for my SIM card to be swapped. I was not able to buy data bundles for more than a week. My 1st billing invoice on my new contract is completely incorrect. I have been overcharged by R2350, charged for a service I no longer receive plus I was undercharged for my actual contract.

The service on the help line is non existent. I don't know how many times I have phoned in to follow up on a case that has supposedly been lodged, only to find out no case was ever submitted. Every time I have a problem, the helpline can never assist me, I always get the same response, "we will forward you're problem to the technical department", which I feel is non existent as they are never doing there job. I wait days on end with these ridiculous excuse of a service provider. I would never recommend anyone to Telkom Mobile. Can't wait to be done with them.
