Upgrading has been a nightmare

I took out a Telkom Mobile Cellphone Contract on the 14th July 2011. I have now been struggling since May to find somebody to help me ugrade my current contract. According to Telkom Mobile my Contract was cancelled last year, to no knowledge of mine, and they actualy confessed that it was there mistake. So according to the system I can only upgrade in May next year. I have been to the store and logged several calls with them and with the service provider themselves. I have had no feedback on this matter and I am getting very annoyed, as everybody is pointing me in different directions, that is not solving anything. I don't owe then any money and I want my upgrade, as was promised when I signed my contract.
