I have requested Vodacom to cancel my contract at the end first annual subscription, they called informing me that my contract is about to expire and I requested cancellation at end of contract and I even called their cancellation/accounts department to request cancellation. Today I have tried to make a call out on my phone and I am told that my line is suspended because I have an outstanding payment. When I call Vodacom I am told that my line cannot be activated until I pay an outstanding balance.
I don't want to pay because this is not a fair business practice if it is what they do to all client and I can't stay with my line suspended. How to I address this, do I lodge a complaint with ICASA first?
