Seriously poor quality of service

I live and run my business from my home in Melville, Johannesburg. I recently had my computer and the replacement computer needed a external modem. I purchase Vodacom's top of the range Wi-Fi modem from a dealer in Melrose Arch only to find that it is both slow and connection sporadic. I feel that at R2500 the modem should perform as good as the previous modem built-into my previous laptop. I had my IT guy check it out and he confirms that the signal received is poor and sporadic and is the cause of the exceptionally poor service delivery.

It gets better when i look at my contract (with the intention of cancelling) its rather specific that you agree to the level of service Vodacom delivers - take it or leave it! What a poor attitude! We'll take your money and if the service is poor that's your problem!
