Opened two cases of poor reception in Sonstraal, Durbanville area with Vodacom. Signal cuts out continually, and no 3G in the area, on any Vodacom device. Wife has Cell C phone, with full 3G signal. MTN as well.
Drive 100m down the road, full 3G signal. Ask Vodacom to investigate, first they say its fixed. It is not. Complain again - this time they tell me they cannot do anything about it. Tell me my only option is to cancel my contract.
I spend a lot of money with Vodacom accross multiple 3G devices, now my hands are tied. I do not live in some rural area either. Durbanville (and the Sonstraal area) has a lot of Vodacom users I would imagine.
If they want me to cancel my contract, they will need to waiver the cancellation fees.
