My brothers phone had been dropped from a balcony and we had to take the phone to a vodacom service center to get looked at for insurance claim, after my sister goes into the store the lady there told her the phone is damaged from being dropped and is not repairable, we get the report and send it to the insurance company, only for them to call vodacom and get told by someone named Leanne that the phone is damaged by wear and tear. apart from the battery life slowly going down and the usual wear and tear, THE PHONE WORKED PERFECTLY BEFORE IT WAS DROPPED.
i am unsure if maybe this person was possibly dropped on HER head for giving such unhelpful assistance, after paying for this report i am extremely angry, now the insurance will not fix or replace the phone, my family live an hour away from Durban, taking the phone there was out of the way.
Luckily my sister spoke to a helpful lady named Tatum who confirmed the phone is damaged according the report & hopefully the insurance will call back and speak to her, if my claim is denied because of this leanne "nitwit" person I will hold vodacom accountable. thanks Tatum for the help!
