No record of phone purchase at repair cente

I upgraded to my HTC OneX using the Vodacom website last year. The phone was delivered by courier.
The phone has some issues and needs to be repaired, but the repair centers (both at Cresta and Vodaworld) tell me they can't find any record of Vodacom providing the phone. I have looked everywhere at home but I can't find any proof, although it has never been a problem in the past as Vodacom should have a record.

I phone the upgrade department (082 1959), and they told me that there is definitely a record of the purchase. They needed to do some investigation and they would get back to me, that was 2 days ago and I haven't heard anything.

There is a disconnect somewhere as 1 dept says everything is fine, while the other has no record of my purchase. I need my phone repaired urgently, please sort this out.
