Advertised cost & contract costs differs

My contract with MTN has expired and I wanted to downgrade my contract with them today. I went in and requested a 200anytime contract with the Samsung Galaxy Pocket (S5300) they had stock of the phone and took 20 minutes to do the downgrade of the contract. After that whole proces they expected me to sign a contract where a lot of the words where cut of on the paper due to bad printing and the contract stated the monthly cost will be R249 (VAT and promotional discount included) instead of the advertised R149. The lady was upset that I did not want to sign the contract because she say that they wil bill for R149 after promotional discount altough the contract states R249, I told here I'm not signing to what she is saying but to what the contract is stating, acording to her "I do not understand"!!! I also had a look on my MTN active and that is also stating R249 (now canceled). This is shocking; they sell things to you under false perceptions and get a attitude when you follow your legal rights. Now I have to wait 10 days for the cancelation to go through before I can cancel the contract and in the mean while the billing meter is running!!!
