Cancel and Upgrade - EC-ZHQ1-2OVMJ5

I've been trying to cancel an Upgrade with Vodacom for 3 months now - EC-ZHQ1-2OVMJ5
Vodacom was not able to effect a simple SIM swop, and since Feb, have not been able to cancel the upgrade and refund my money.

To date I have send and received more than 62 emails in this regard. I have spent more that 3 hrs 30 mins on 16 different calls to Vodacom. I have been into a Vodashop 3 times and spent some 2 hrs there.
I am frustrated and do not know how to cancel this upgrade.
Vodacom seems completely incompetent.
