POOR SERVICE??? WHAT SERVICE

A contract which was taken out for my husband's business ages ago was not paid by the responsible person and my husband got a letter from Vodacom during 2011 that he is responsible for payment thereof. I made arrangements and settled the account over a few instalments. On the 1st of May (public holiday) we got a sms that stated that the account has been handed over and that we should contact VVM DEBT COLLECTORS to make payment arrangements and avoid a possible judgement. On 2 May 2013 we received another sms stating that no payment arrangement has been recorded and that we should contact VVM DEBT urgently. As we were on holiday I only had time to contact my Vodacom supplier on 3 May 2013 to try and sort this out. She promised to phone me immediately - this did not happen. Today (6 May 2013) another SMS was received where we were informed that a trace locator reflects on my husband's credit profile due this arrear. I am furious - after I have contacted Vodacom and informed them that the account has indeed been settled no instructions were given to their debt collectors to stop action as we are in the process of sorting this out!!!
