Impossible to cancel service

Have been trying to call over 4 days to cancel a telkom service. Spoken to various people who said I have to dial 1023 option 1 and then option 5. I tried numerous times holding up to 1/2 an hour at a time.

Then imagine my joy when my call was finally answered after holding for a mere 15 minutes! But then they wanted to transfer me to yet another department. Then the operator said I should write a letter canceling and post to telkom.

Great for efficiency for the company that "makes business work"!
