After my bill was run up by someone who my phone, my debit order bounced. After numerous logged calls to the call centre to arrange a payment, someone finally called back from acc department. I was driving so she said she would phone back in 10min - which never happened. Exasperated, i phoned again a few days afterward, when someone in Vodacom acc. dept. INSISTED that I was not in arrears and there was nothing that I could pay. I got attitude from the person after I explained that the debit order came back, unpaid, and there should be a payment arrangement made. She insisted that I was not in arrears. Two days later my line was suspended. I phoned Vodacom again, demanding that a manager listen to that recorded call and phone me back. I was promised that he would phone me first thing next morning at 10o'clock on the landline at work as my cell service was suspended. No call was received. I phoned last night again... got cut off and no one has tried to contact me since and I am still without service.
