I have been a member of Virgin Active since May 2012, when I joined, I took up the Discovery Vitality benefit.
I paid a joining fee of R650 X 2 (for myself & my wife). In January my medical aid cancelled its partnership with Discovery Vitality & we were moved over to Momentum Multiply. We still enjoy going to the gym, but because we do not enjoy the Momentum multiply rewards programme we have opted to go back onto Discovery. In order to do this, we are required to pay the Joining fee of R1700 again.
Why should I pay a joining fee if I have never left Virgin Active?
Virgin active refuses to waive the joining fee.
