PLANET FITNESS TRANSFER OF CONTRACT

Dec 2009 I went into the Rosebank PF & said I needed to close my contact due to the fact I was moving to Durban my father had died & there are no branches here for me to transfer the contact. The branch manager at the time said he could transfer the contract to someone who wanted a new contract. I signed all the paper work he asked & I left Gauteng.

Unfortunately when I returned to Durban I still had not received a copy of this paper work from him & when I called I was informed that he had left the branch but everything was fine on the system & that they would stop the debits accordingly & I would receive a copy when the paper work was filled. I still have not received this paper work, but the debts stopped & I was assured everything was fine, up until a months ago when I received a phone call from a debt company saying they are going to blacklist me for not paying this contract.

I contact the branch & got passed from one person to the next. I finally got a reply from Lizette van Loggerenberg the Member Respondent who has told me it is not their problem that I don't have the paperwork & I am now stuck with a R28k bill to pay.

This is terrible & I will be taking legal advise
