Transfer to another branch not happening

Upon joining Planet Fitness at the beginning of last year, I got told that the sales rep would link me to my Vitality-which he did not do. A year later (2 months ago) I requested to be transferred to the Wanderers branch and had to come into the branch 3 times and call in numerous times to finally sign a contract to transfer-I was told that transfer would take 2 weeks to go through. It is now 2 months later and it has not been transferred yet. Called in several times and got told that the manager of the Rosebank branch will get back to me-which he never did. Only now once threatening to cancel my account did someone assist me and said that he can get the transfer done today. So when I first asked to be transferred why was I told that it will take 2 weeks when it evidently can be done in a day?
