I have been trying to cancel my membership for a few weeks now because I have moved house and I can no longer drive to Bedfordview when I now live in Sandton. There is no option of transferring my contract as I do not live near the Rivonia or Fourways branches.
I went into the Bedfordview club, filled out a cancellation form and they said they would get back to me regarding a settlement fee on the next working day. I STILL haven't heard from anyone. I have called both the Bedfordview club which says I have to go through the head office, where IF i get through to reception, I am put through to a constant ringing number. I have emailed complaints and no one has even responded. This is ridiculous I have tried so many times and for people who work they cannot spend their time calling these call centers and definitely cannot keep going to an from a club they are cancelling at BECAUSE they cant make it there in the first place.
If planet fitness even sees and responds to this, I am not on Vitality or anything like that, it is a straight gym contract. Just tell me what to do and Ill do it. everyone should be warned against Planet fitness if this is how they treat clientele.
