In 2014 I went to find out how planet fitness's contracts etc work. Jabu the consultant greeted me and showed me around immediately into the office. I told him that I am currentley signed up at Virgin Active gym. And I just wanted to know how much their costs is etc. he explained everything to me and also told me to complete the forms so long so when I decided to move over to planet fitness that all paperwork is completed. He told me that he will keep it aside so when I'm ready I must contact him. After 2 months I was contacted from their admin department to find out why I was not paying my contract. To my surprise dear Jabu put in my paperwork and now I must pay up. I went here personally and spoke to their manager. He went and got my file and faxed it through to their admin dept. he apologized for Jabu's bad customer service and that the problem is fixed. Then again I was contacted after a month or so about the account and their admin person went off on me telling me I'm a and where is all the proof as I signed the contract... I'm owing them over R3k now. And they are not fixing their contracts. Even Jabu still works there. Is this the way to get customers???
