I joined Planet Fitness in Feb2011 and took out a membership with a additional black tag
after not receiving the black tag and also not using it I asked planet fitness Roodepoort to cancel my black tag, they said that in the T&C it states you have to have it for 12months before you can cancel it (no problem that's understandable)
10May 2013 (after 14months) I went in to cancel my black tag and reception made me write it out on a blank piece of paper to submit it to there admin department
Aug 2013 and I'm still paying for the black tag, I phoned them and spoke to the manager of the gym who said that he will cancel it immediately and will also refund me for the months I payed after May2013
I never received any feed back from the manager (Michael)
Des2013 and I'm still paying for the tag, after fighting with another manager at the gym and also taking it up with there Head office they finally cancel the tag
but till today no refund for 7months of paying for the tag I asked them to
For Planet Fitness Roodepoort its very easy to take your money, but ask them to cancel something you will be fighting for a couple of months!
and refund... they never come back to you!
