I applied for a gym contract through Discovery Vitality on 31/12/2013 and paid the full joining fee.
Initially I was told the contract would be loaded manually the following day. When I called two days later, I was informed the Vitality system was still down and that they were working on it. I called again on Friday, I was told they would load my contract by close of business that day or at the latest the next morning.
Today, after 2 hang ups and waiting for a long time, I finally got through to a sales person who took my details and said she would "look into it". I have not received any further feedback.
