I called the salon before buying the groupon to see about availability and booked an appointment for a Saturday 2 months later - I advised them of my long and thick hair and they advised that the most they would charge me additional is R150. I then bought the groupon. 1 week before the appointment they called me to move the appt to a weekday. I was adamant to have it on a Saturday so then they agreed that the owner would do my appointments.
When I arrived. I was then quoted R250 additional because of the thickness. When I questioned the telephonic quote the owner said that it should actually be R350. So I agreed to continue. When time came to pay... she wanted to charge me R350. When I started complaining she said lets make it R300 because she used so much of product on my hair. The experience I had was so unprofessional and felt I was being ripped off at every opportunity she had. Even when she was trying to sell me aftercare products I was initially quoted R250 then she later said she made a mistake and it the price was R360.
Groupon should no longer do business with unprofessionals!!!
