Went to Hair Doo salon for a Brazilian blow wave. When I arrived on time, I was greeted by an unfriendly lady behind the counter. Then I glanced at the rest of the salon and I was disgusted! The floor was covered in hair. I was actually tempted to ask if their cleaning lady was on strike! Then I was taken to the basins for a wash. The basins were all dirty and full of foils etc. The lady who was about to do my hair had to rummage through a heap of dirty towels for one to use on my hair. I really wanted to run and take a bath in Dettol, but I had already paid for the Brazilian via Groupon.
That said, the Brazilian was done and I went home. During the first 48 hours I had to straighten my hair twice at home! Then I washed my hair after three days (with sulfate free shampoo) and my hair now looks exactly like it did before the so-called Brazilian.
In summary, I have seen people with successful Brazilians and mine looks nothing like it. Hair Doo is the most disgusting and filthy salon I've ever seen and my Brazilian is a complete disaster!!! R500 down the drain!!!
