Hubby and I joined the club 3 years ago for a 3 year contract. Our contract expired end sept 2013. Even though we stopped using the gym because the machines would be faulty or it would be to full, we still honoured our payments. Now we get sms's that money will be deducted. I contacted them to see whats going on.. now they tell me we had to give a 30 day cancellation letter prior to our contract ending! Because that period is gone we will have to pay the gym fees for 3 months or join again @ R99 per month. Firstly our fee was 3x that amount why is it cheaper now? And when a contract ends, it ends why do we have to cancel it? We werent contacted prior to renew the contract either.. is this the way they make money? This is very unfair! I wil NEVER recommend this club to anyone!
