I'm very disappointed with how Virgin Active vodaworld operates. When I signed up i was never told about any contract lasting until 2015, i was told my membership is flexible and can stop whenever i want. This is not the first time I have issue with virgin. If I signed a contract, shouldn't I have a copy? All that happens when you join is complete a membership form of which does not talk to any 2 year contract agreement.

Now that I want to cancel my membership I'm told to pay a breach of contract fee of R2500.
This is to my knowledge, clients should be told upfront with all relevant details.

Virgin is not professional but after peoples pockets in a and discreet manner. Ask yourself why they dont disclose their membership fees to the public via their website.

Just to disclose more of my experiences with virgin, the first month after i joined, the deducted twice in one month saying the first debit order is an upfront joining fee but when i was signing up i was not told about such deductions.

As a company you need to be clear and transparent to your clients at all times of which is not happening at Virgin Active.

I'm extremely disappointed.
