False information is costing me $$$

I signed up with Virgin Active in Kimberley. At the time I went into discuss getting a membership, I told the consultant I was on Profmed medical aid and wanted to sign up for Multiply so that I could gym at Virgin Active. He assured me that I could sign up for a standard 2 year membership then and there and then once I was signed up to multiply, simply bring him the membership number and switch it across. Well guess what?? He. I have now been informed by Humewood Virgin Active that in order to make the switch I will have to pay an initiation fee of R645. I am really upset and annoyed because I specifically discussed this issue with the Kimberley consultant. Furthermore i have ALREADY paid an initiation fee of R279 and now I have to pay again when I'm already a member???!!! Virgin Active you are your customers blind!! I trust that you will contact me with some solution!
