1.Tricked into a fixed term contract by being asked probing questions like "how many days a week would you like to work out" and "how long do you wish to see yourself maintain your fitness".
2. When management was contacted to request assistance with contract terms, they could not get back to me or respond to my emails.
3. Within a "Fixed term contract" my monthly debit order was suddenly increased without notification or consent - this is one of the ONLY reasons one would enter into a fixed contract in the first place - so that debit orders are fixed for a period of time!
I am shocked at the incompetence of the team at Fourways Mega Club to assist customers and address their needs. I am further shocked at the unethical manner in which I have been treated and billed! I will NEVER support Planet fitness again and will continue to paint them in the bad service picture compared to their competitor, Virgin Active, who will allow you to stop membership at any time provided 30 days notice is given, and who will allow you a year thereafter to re-join at your convenience with NO joining fee! - this is customer service!
