Three years ago I took out a contract with Planet Fitness. Due to my contract expiring in May I received a mail advising that should I NOT wish to continue with my contract I was to advise them via mail which I duly did. Also, when I signed the original contract document I elected NOT to have my contract continue after the contract period on a monthly basis.
However, they continue to debit my account every month forcing me to go into the bank and have the debit order reversed each time. At the end of July I once again went in and reversed the debit order only to have it try and go through again but for an amount R10 less than that a few days ago
This behaviour is shocking and in complete contravention to the Consumer Protection Act. Stop debiting me for something I DO NOT want
