Manager Goes agains his word

After numerous calls and few emails i get hold of the manager (badley) that never replies to my emails or calls asking him whats happening to my membership as told me he will get me a year free on my membership as for about a year iv been trying to get them to put my account on hold and was not using the facilities that did not happen and my account went into areas and that's when the manager told me to pay the balance and he will get my year free, so today he denied saying that

I think this is just bull and now telling me that i have signed a 36month contract and cant cancel even thought i paid for a year i did not use and to me to pay the balance outstanding then will get the year free. guess that's just how you your clients
