Hello Peter.

I got a call in 2009 from planet fitness saying that i was nominated by my brother and that i had won a gym voucher after being flooded by phone calls from PF i eventually went to the centurion gate branch where the call originated from and i was talked in to taking out membership so i did as i saw the benefits 3 weeks later i lost my job due to the recession and i reported to PF that i was now unemployed and couldn't pay my subscription so i wanted to cancel the membership but i was told about the 7 days grace period then i asked if can we then freeze the account until I'm back on my feet then i can resume with my membership I was simply told by PF consultant that "sorry but there is nothing you can do once you sign its done and you only have 7 days to cancel and you can only freeze membership only if you are leaving the country or when pregnant. Now 3 -4 years later i get a call from Saya recoveries asking me to make payment of R1500 to PF and I asked why wasn't i notified all this time that I'm still being billed and still they say its not their problem PF never even gave me a card to enter the gym so no one is tending their account their CFO is doing nothing.
