The Parkview branch has 7 rowing machines and there's not a single one of them working properly. The chains are broken, the resistance on the machines are incorrectly set and the monitors don't work. I have actually just left the gym now without having exercised. This is not a new situation either. I joined the gym a couple of weeks ago and about half of them were not working then. Now it's all of them so the situation is deteriorating. Thanks goodness I opted for the one month membership only. At R850 it was expensive but cheaper than being frustrated for the rest of the year with Virgin Active's appalling maintenance program. After today I have decided just to buy myself a Concept 2 rowing machine.
