I purchased a bed today from the store in Blackheath. The Genessi Comfort Rest Double that is advertised at R2999. I did not even ask about other store prices yet the sales consultant Delare told me that the "store down the road has it more expensive" so i believed him. He started quoting me with a delivery fee of R220 and eventually settled at R150 (i live 2mins away) My total invoice came to R3170 because of some R20 tax addition. Out of curiosity i saw a store down the road so i queried their price. They quoted me the exact same price as Bed and Lounge (R2999) and a delivery fee of only R50. I then quickly went back to Bed and Lounge to ask for a refund as the goods had not yet been loaded for delivery. Delare had such attitude and spoke to me in a very rude and raised tone. He told me he cannot do the refund as the invoice had already been printed and i already paid. I informed him that the goods have not left the store so i as a consumer should be entitled to a refund. He then went on to say that they do not do refunds for credit cards (I paid by credit card). They only do refunds for debit card and cash. Thereby i was left with no option but to allow the goods to be delivered
