My Husband bought my engagement ring from Michael's Desings in 2009. Not even 6 months later my ring actually broke into two pieces. We were told Reen had made it with the incorrect amount of gold. It was then remade my Micheal's Designs. Subsequently I took it in to be polished, I was told at the reception that 2 claws were broken as well. I booked it in for repairs. When I collected my ring Michael himself told me that my Diamond was broken aswell. This was never disclosed when booking it in or when the repairs were done. I was told I would get a quote to replace the diamond. That was 2 months ago and I am still waiting. I was told by Michael himself that I probably chipped my diamond by banging my hand against a wall or whilst shopping. I was under the impression a diamond was the hardest stone and cannot break so easily. Anyway I have had my diamond checked by a diamond dealer and am waiting on the report of that. Michael is about to be in some seriously hot water.
