Makro
False Advertsing Selling a Product not in Stock

We went to Makro to buy the LG 32" LED Full HD TV Model Number 32LV3400 advertised for R2999 after pricing at other stores for a comparison quote we returned to Makro Crown Mines and requested 2 TVs for purchase and after going through the process of TV License approval the Salesman told us there was no stock for that model and there had been no stock for some time in the whole Gauteng Region. We requested to speak to the Manager of the Department a Mark Liebenberg to see what he could do for us for trying sell something not in stock the man refused to see us until we requested to see the Branch Manager. Mark Liebenberg gave a whole lot excuses as to why he was advertising something not in stock and a whole lot of excuses as to why there was NO signage saying Out of Stock or Sold Out. We finally agreed on taking two older model TV sets which cost more but requested he give us a discount of R100 per unit on the price which he quoted he refused to do this considering we were going to pay in excess a sum of R200 per unit than originally planned for on a older TV I requested to see his boss the Branch Manager but he ran away to the back and refused to come out.
