I was absolutely livid yesterday, I went to Makro Stubensvalley to purchase a Samsung 40 inch TV that was advertised as a special. When I arrived at Makro, the sales person told me that the TV's had sold out, but I could go to Crowm mines (as they had plenty of stock). I asked the sales person to phone Crown mines, but he assured me that they have, in his words "more than enough" available. Going against my better judgenment, I drove all the way to Crown mines... only to discover they were ALSO OUT OF STOCK!!! The sales person told me that I was the 6th customer that came from Strubensvalley looking for the same TV special... I have on several occassions been to Makro to purchase a special... & was told at it was out of stock... I either have very bad luck... or Makro is falsely advertising specials to lure shoppers to their stores (because out of frustration, we end up buying other that we dont need!)
My second complaint is the poor service, the sales people dont seem to know what the they are doing & their attitude & service stinks... its like they are doing you a favour to assist.
