My fiance decided to surprise me with a Platstation3. At home my pleasant surprise was sadly ruined...
I was presented a box which looked worse for wear. Torn in places. Wrinkled. Out of shape. Upon further investigation I see the OFFICIAL Playstation seal on the opening was missing, and was replaced by two pieces of regular Sellotape. Immediately I knew this was not a new unit (I have had 4 new Playstation machines before and ALL were sealed with official tape). I asked her if she had checked if this was new and she assured me she asked the salesman multiple times and he confirmed it was a new unit. Upon opening the box, I see the machine itself is not in a soft-touch wrapping as it should be. One of the rubber feet of the machine is missing. The sides of the machine are also scratched.
It is clearly not a new unit. Other complaints here seem to show the same scenario of used items sold as new.
I know my fiance is not techno-savvy. This -bag salesman clearly saw the same. Blatantly to the face of a customer? How can you employ people like this? Why cant people just be honest and not waste others time?
I want this resolved as a matter of urgency.
