On 12/04 I received an sms stating that a debit order was loaded on my account and that it will be debited by TFG on a monthly basis. The following day my account that has been inactive for about 6 months was debited, causing me to be charged a fee of R125 for a returned debit.

I emailed customer service, with no reply to date. I called the call center twice and was given 2 different answers. 1 agent told me that the debit order is automatic if I did an application on the net, but why have Foschini waited 1 year before doing this and not notify me? Another agent told me that the debit order was loaded because I was late on my payment. He said my payment was due on 3 /04 which meant on 02/04 when I made my payment I was not late but by then I couldn't even cancel my debit order as it was too late and it was a public weekend before that date.

The last straw was when I received a call from an agent who refused to talk to me as I was in a noisy place but opted to drop the line causing much frustration. I would like to know who is going to pay for the unnecessary bank charges and when will I get feedback as I am very unsatisfied with the service of TFG
