Last year August I settled my account with Edgars in full (R7500) and owed nothing, yet they were still charging me for a funeral plan and a lifestyle membership fee. As per their terms & conditions any of these policies can be cancelled in wiritng which I did via email and have proof they were received and read by the accounts department.
However, 8 months down th line they are still charging me for both and have not even bothered to acknowledge that I cancelled it.
I have been a very good customer and never miss any payments, yet they have the cheek to phone me when my acocunt is overdue by R100!!!
I will be settling my account shortly and will close the account as this is no way to treat a customer of nearly 8 years!
