I am so disappointed with Edgars, selling additional products to add value to ones account, The lady that opened the account for me insisted I take out account protection plan though I refused to, I took it out and paid for it, I got retrenched, went to the store to claim they gave me a hard time wanting all doc certified first, I ran around and got it certified and lodged a claim, I did not get any response from Edgars, after 3 months I got calls from them threatening to list me if I don't pay, I explain they say I must pay they cannot help cause they just collect if I don't pay they will list me, I went to the store and they said they don't know how far the claim is but now I am working so I must pay it or they will list me. So why pay for something you cannot benefit from, I am paying my account off but very disappointed, I will close my account once it is settled. They charging me interest and still charging me for the protection plan and will not remove it, I Paid R 500.00 and will pay the rest month end, but Edgars won't see me again. please remove the account protection plan from my account, Please close my account and I will pay off the balance my amount owing is R 1000.00
