On 7th April 2013 I went into said shop and chose pearls earrings. These needed a back change. I was promised them on 10th April. On 12th I went in to query the order, was told they would be there later that day. I then went in today 15th to be told they don't know where I the order was, Maria is off today and the query will be dealt with tomorrow. It was stipulated on 7 th that this was a special gift for my daughter to wear on her wedding day this Saturday 20th. The colour of the pearls were specifically chosen to match her pendant, also purchased from Pearl and Diamond Design. When asked why Maria didn't follow up on Friday I had no response from the lady I spoke to on the phone. When I went in this morning I was promised an investigation and she would come back to me with an answer. When I called her at 12.pm and asked why she hadn't called me, I was told she couldn't phone everyone with a query.!!! yet I was promised a call. In times as tough as this I would think that retailers would be grateful for a sale and would follow up on any problems.
