When I opened my account i clearly told the Jet store sales person that i don't want any of their optional plans. I even told the Edcon consultant. but to my surprise the jet sales person made everyone who was opening an account fill in form regardless of whether you are opening the account telephonically with Edcon or through a form and kept the forms. Meaning that she still has all my details and can make any amendments on my account. when i received my statement i saw that they added 3 insurance plans but when i went to open the account before i left the store i confirmed with the guy that activated the account that they didn't add any optional plans.
when i called jet helpline i spoke to Nogukhanya who promised to cancel the insurance covers. she said they cant trace who added those options as it was opened illegally, which i really don't believe. i even asked to speak to a manager, she promised that her manager would call back, that was the 03/04/2013 till today i am still waiting for the call from a manager.
