I applied for a store card on the 30th March 2013 at the Sandton City Woolworths store. I was told it would take 3 to 4 working days for an answer. I went to the clear waters mall store on the 6th April 2013 to enquire. i was told its declined. When I enquired why, apparently I had closed my account in 1999 and the system was blocking the new application. Please take note I received no notification of this via any communication. I had to walk into a store to enquire. I was then told i would have to wait until Monday 8th April 2013 for an answer, as the department is closed on the Saturday. I called today at 12h10 pm, only to be told I would have to wait for an sms for the outcome.
Woolworths obviously does not want my business.
I am absolutely disgusted at this poor service.
Not even a call this morning to say what is happening.
